2012 Kawasaki Ninja 650 Review

2012 Kawasaki Ninja 650 Review
All-new Chassis, Bodywork and Improved Power Delivery Make the Best Mid-sized Sportbike Even Better
This practical sportbike features a raft of new technology and design elements, including a totally new perimeter-style frame, revised suspension, more angular bodywork, new instrumentation, improved engine performance, a more comfortable saddle, lower seat height and much more. It all starts in the engine bay, where an advanced, highly compact, liquid-cooled 649cc vertical twin works its magic with help from a digital fuel injection system featuring 38mm throttle bodies and sub-throttle assemblies for optimum response and precise fueling. This has always been a brilliant streetbike engine – torquey, smooth, and blessed with impressive top end performance, yet enough satisfying low- and mid-range oomph to please novices and experts alike. Figure in the Ninja 650 engine’s estimated 50-mpg* fuel economy, precise fuel injection and its pleasing twin-cylinder throb, and you’re looking at what just might be the most flexible and satisfying streetbike engine on the planet.
Pull away from a light and the 650’s torquey engine, light-pull clutch and perfect throttle response make quick work of the job. Experts will love the new Ninja’s powerful yet flexible engine, modern suspension, disc brakes and nimble handling.

Kawasaki klx 140

Kawasaki klx 140,dual purpose models, Smaller riders will love the KLX’s physical size – a touch larger than a typical minibike – and push-button starting, while those a bit taller will appreciate the larger-wheeled KLX140L, which features a 19” front and 16” rear wheel in place of the standard kawasaki KLX’s 17” front and 14” rear wheels. Power from the KLX’s air-cooled SOHC 144cc engine is plentiful yet easy to manage via the manual clutch and five-speed, close-ratio transmission. To provide even greater options for growing riders, the KLX140L’s more advanced, reservoir-equipped shock easily fits the standard KLX140.
A large 220mm front disc and 27mm twin-piston caliper at the front and 186mm rear disc provide serious stopping power.

2009 Kawasaki Ninja 500R

2009 Kawasaki Ninja 500R

Exciting two-wheel fun, practical two-wheel efficiency

Practicality is the Kawasaki Ninja 500r biggest asset as it strikes an ideal balance between function, form and budget that’s rarely achieved in the sport bike world. A sensible sportbike, the 500R is ready to rip, yet remains friendly enough for beginners to feel confident in its manners.

At the heart of this excellent platform is the Ninja 500R’s 498cc liquid-cooled, parallel twin-cylinder four-stroke engine. With dual overhead cams and four valves per cylinder, the robust motor is both beginner-friendly and rousing to expert riders. No slouch, this half-liter engine has enough gusto to let novices expand their skills and keep even the most seasoned riders quite happy exploring the upper end of its rev range.

Letting the high-performance engine live to its full potential is a lightweight and compact design. One of the major selling points for the Ninja 500R is its great-handling enabled by its large-diameter 37mm fork tubes and UNI-TRAK® rear suspension system utilizing a progressive linkage similar to the larger-displacement Ninja models. With the motor and chassis combo, the bike begs to be taken out on twisty back roads.

And the Ninja 500R also shares the same sporty styling of its bigger siblings, with an aerodynamic half-fairing that provides wind protection for the rider and is stylishly complemented by a lower fairing

Kawasaki Z250 VS Kawasaki Ninja 250 FI

Many say that the Kawasaki Z250 is Kawasaki Ninja 250 FI, is that true? Lets look together.

When viewed in terms of machinery and technology, two bikes have the same engine and technology. In the specification, Kawasaki Z250 and Ninja 250 FI engine powered with 249cc DOHC parallel twin, carburetion system injection, 11,3:1 compression ratio, up to a six-speed transmission. Of course, the energy released would be the same, 32 PS at 11,000 rpm and 21 Nm torque at 10,000 rpm.

So what makes the Z250 and Ninja 250 FI different? I think obviously look different from the type, it is clear that the Kawasaki Z250 has style nakedbike, while ninja 250 FI is The Sportbike. Also we can see, Kawasaki Z250 not use fairing, and has a sort of Shroud engine cover, which looks like the "Z" letter.

So, the Kawasaki Z250 and Kawasaki Ninja 250 FI, only different aesthetically and in terms of models and functions only. In specification, both these motorcycles have the same engine.

The 2013 Kawasaki Z1000

It’s some new motorcycle from Kawasaki Motor in 2013. The name is 2013 Kawasaki Z1000. The bike attracts riders with its muscular good looks and then seduces them with its incredible power and charismatic feel. Serious torque, comfortable ergonomics, and a mesmerizing aesthetic make for an unforgettable experience. Its distinctive look begins with a front cowl that slopes back radically, highlighting the Z’s aggression. The line-beam headlights are integrated nicely into that angled cowl. Then its shapely fuel tank is flared on the sides for serious knee grip and is slimmer in back for a snug fit.

The engine arrive with 1.043cc type four-stroke, liquid-cooled, DOHC, four valves per cylinder, inline-four. Fuel System used Digital Fuel Injection (DFI®) with four 38mm Keihin throttle bodies, oval sub-throttles. Ignition used TCBI with Digital Advance and six-speed of transmission. The engine inline-four packs impressive horsepower combined with the sort of flexible, mid-range-heavy power delivery that pastes a silly grin on the face of anyone lucky enough to be aboard. 38mm downdraft throttle bodies allow intake air to travel to the engine in the shortest possible distance.
The 2013 Kawasaki Z1000 frame used aluminum backbone frame, similar in concept to the Ninja® ZX™-10R. The design allows a narrow mid-section, which fosters a high degree of rider comfort and feedback in addition to keeping weight low and chassis rigidity high. The frame’s five-piece construction consists of steering stem, left and right main frames, and two cross pieces. The two main frame components have open C-shaped cross sections. The main frame and swingarm pivot elements are cast as a single unit, with welds eliminated wherever possible for a more aesthetically pleasing look. And the subframe is a lightweight aluminum die-casting, which is light, smooth and beautiful.

For suspension the 2013 Kawasaki Z1000 used 41 mm inverted cartridge fork with stepless compression and rebound damping, adjustable spring preload / 4.7 in for front side and horizontal monoshock with stepless rebound damping, adjustable spring preload / 5.4 in for rear. For brakes this bike used dual 300mm petal-type rotors with radial-mount four-piston calipers (Caliper piston size is 4x30 mm) in front. A radial-pump front brake master cylinder contributes to the superb control and feel offered by these high-end calipers. For rear used single 250mm petal-type rotor with single-piston caliper.

2013 Kawasaki Z1000 released in US MSRP Price: $10,999 USD. For color choices is Golden Blazed Green and Metallic Spark Black. Kawasaki’s also give 12 months of warranty.

Kawasaki Ninja 250 Modified Japan

I saw something unusual, you may not believe that the above picture is the famous motorcycle kawasaki skyrocketed enough, this is a true friend Kawasaki Ninja 250 is modified so that it becomes very fantastic shapes, heres a quote I read from autos.okezone.com.

Kawasaki Ninja 250 sport has a very strong view from out of the factory. So do not be surprised if many owners of motor sport from Japan is improving the style looks by modifying the MotoGP bike.

The consideration, in addition to easy to modify the model, supporting accessories are also already widely available in the market. But Studio Custom Motor Bike try to present something different through the Kawasaki Ninja 250 Flat Traker epithet.

Modifications are carried not too extreme but makes the Ninja has the character of a very powerful naked bike and look sexy. The whole body of the original "pellets from Japan" is taken off and replaced with new clothes. Anyone who sees this bike certainly not be surprised if this Ninja 250.

The original Ninja tank that fat was replaced with a smaller tank model of peanut. It is unknown how the content of the fuel capacity of this tank. Flat Traker stern look was very different. Taper models that characterize todays motor sport to change the model of a typical horizontal Cafe Racer.

External appearance look more frightening to doff the green color cast. While the sector whitewash yellow gold frame to support the view outside.

It seems that this bike is only for the rider alone. This can be seen from the seat of the model adopted for the single seater. An interesting look at the lighting sector, naked Ninja uses HID lamps are picked from the Toyota Rush. The lamp is placed in the right shockbreaker.

In order to look increasingly beyond the maximum, then the racing part was trying to smell like a foot step followed X-Race, K & N air filter and exhaust alerts Leovince SBK racing.

Changes in the sector of the legs did not seem eccentric and adapted to the posture Flat Traker. Alloy wheels wrapped bars next six sector Battlax Bridgestone 120/70-17 front tire, while the back carries the sector Battlax 150/70-17 Bridgestone tires.

All new Kawasaki Ninja 250 VS Honda CBR 250R

Attendance All new Kawasaki Ninja 250 in my opinion obviously has to compete with Honda 250cc bike, the CBR 250R. Now the all-new Kawasaki Ninja 250 has particularly what is owned by Honda CBR 250R, such as the injection system on the engine and ABS braking system. Overall All new kawasaki ninja 250 has an aggressive design, this course can increase competition within the CBR 250R.

Also all-new Ninja 250 has a composition of 2-cylinder engine with 8-valve DOHC. In Indonesia, the machine with such a configuration, it is still perceived prestige than the 1-cylinder engine used in the CBR 250R. Surely the engine 2 - cylinder can result in higher speed performance than the single cylinder. It turns out that power is owned by the all-new Ninja 250 is greater than the CBR 250R, the all-new Ninja 250 to 32 hp at 11.000rpm, of 6.3 hp is larger than the CBR 250R. But the torque generated kawasaki all new ninja 250, is greater than the CBR 250R, which is only 21 Nm at 10.000rpm, or lower 1.9 Nm. And the weight of the bike was lighter CBR 250R, rather than all-new Ninja 250.

But the formula is not absolute. We also need to know the ratio of weight versus power and torque have both. However CBR 250R is lighter weight than all-new Ninja 250. In the all-new Ninja 250 has a weight of 174 kg, while the CBR 250R only with a weight of 165 kg, so the ratio of power versus weight of all new ninja 250, better than the CBR 250R. All-new Ninja 250 produces 0.18 hp / kg, while the CBR 250R only 0.15 hp / kg.

How where price competition from both the 250cc bike? It turns out that the posted price for the all-new Ninja 250 is RP.56,900.000 (ABS) and Rp.49,900.000 (non-ABS), so the price of all new Ninja 250 is more expensive than the CBR 250R, with a ratio of Rp.10.000.000. For me Rp.10.000.000 is no small amount.
