The 2013 Kawasaki Z1000

It’s some new motorcycle from Kawasaki Motor in 2013. The name is 2013 Kawasaki Z1000. The bike attracts riders with its muscular good looks and then seduces them with its incredible power and charismatic feel. Serious torque, comfortable ergonomics, and a mesmerizing aesthetic make for an unforgettable experience. The frame’s five-piece construction consists of steering stem, left and right main frames, and two cross pieces. The two main frame components have open C-shaped cross sections. The main frame and swingarm pivot elements are cast as a single unit, with welds eliminated wherever possible for a more aesthetically pleasing look. And the subframe is a lightweight aluminum die-casting, which is light, smooth and beautiful.

For suspension the 2013 Kawasaki Z1000 used 41 mm inverted cartridge fork with stepless compression and rebound damping, adjustable spring preload / 4.7 in for front side and horizontal monoshock with stepless rebound damping, adjustable spring preload / 5.4 in for rear. 2013 BMW F700GS

BMW Motorrad now continues chapter of the GS success story with the updated versions of these two successful enduro models, the F 700 GS and F 800 GS. BMW Motorrad has faced the challenge of taking something that is already good and making it even better, consistently focusing on building on the characteristic strengths of the GS in refining the concept. Now BMW’s released new GS family in 2013. The name is 2013 BMW F700GS. This bike is direct successor to the F 650 GS. Its strengths are a lower seating height, all-round capabilities for everyday use and more than sufficient power while also offering outstanding economy.

The engine arrive with 798 cc type water-cooled, 4-stroke in-line, two-cylinder engine, two overhead camshafts, four valves per cylinder, dry sump lubrication and 6-speed gearbox. The engine also addapted emission control with closed-loop 3-way catalytic converter, emission standard EU-3 and mixture control / engine management with electroinc intake pipe injection, digital engine management (BMS-K+). The engine can reach maximum speed 119 mph and also produce maximum torque 57 lb/ft (77Nm) at 5,300 rpm and rated output 55 kW (75 hp) at 7,300 rpm.

The 2013 BMW F700GS also feature other safety-related innovations within their respective classes such as the optional ASC (Automatic Stability Control) and the likewise optional ESA (Electronic Suspension Adjustment). The Electronic Suspension Adjustment ESA is a new feature in this motorcycle segment. Available as an option ex works, it allows the rider to conveniently set the rebound stage damping of the rear spring strut at the press of a button on the handlebars, with the settings "Comfort", "Normal" or "Sport" available, thereby adapting the set-up to the needs of both route and riding style. The handwheel for setting the desired spring mount has been optimised for improved controllability.

BMW Motorrad ASC (Automatic Stability Control) is likewise a newly available ex works option which is also unique in the market segment of the new F 700 GS. This BMW Motorrad traction control system prevents unwanted spinning of the rear wheel while accelerating, which would result in the loss of lateral grip and thus break-out of the rear wheel.

The 2013 BMW F700GS steel frame in tubular construction integrates the engine as a load-bearing element. The rear frame in square steel tubing, the aluminium double-sided swing arm and the wheels and tyres all remain unchanged. For braking, this bike used in front with dual disc brake, diameter 300 mm, double-piston floating caliper and in rear single disc brake, diameter 265 mm, single-piston floating caliper. ABS now standard in both models based on the "Safety 360°" principle. The three colour variants offer something for everyone: muted Red Apple Metallic, masculine Ostra Grey metallic matt and dynamic Glacier Silver metallic.
